That belief is what sparked the creation of Bracelet Therapy, a family-run, Florida-based business crafting handmade beaded word bracelets designed to inspire, uplift, and connect. What started as a simple creative outlet to inspire our own family, has grown into something far greater: a small but mighty movement built around the power of words, the goal of helping people get through their day with a smile, and the beauty of intentional living.

The Story Behind the Beads

Bracelet Therapy was born at our kitchen table in 2023. Like many families unfortunately do, we were going through an extremely tough time in our lives that year. Our oldest child was going through numerous failed spine surgeries for spinal stenosis, which he was born with. It was affecting him not only physically, but mentally as well. He was bed-ridden for the past 3 years, and the surgeries, therapies and medications were not helping the pain. When one family member suffers, we all do. Our entire family was struggling to stay positive and optimistic. We didn’t know what the future held.

We’ve always loved the idea that words carry energy. Mom would write little sticky notes with inpirational words and leave them on our night stands to keep us smiling and give us hope in tough times when we were growing up. They were like a little “pep talk”! We wanted to come up with a way to keep those “pep talks” with us throughout the day, so we could look at them when we needed a boost! Whether it’s strength, hope, gratitude, or breathe, a single word can become a daily reminder, a silent mantra, or even a lifeline during tough times. So we had the idea to put those words on bracelets that we could wear all day long. So we started making bracelets! At first, they were bracelets for ourselves to wear, and then they were gifts — personal and thoughtful, tailored to friends and loved ones who were in need of a little “pep talk”. The response was overwhelming. People felt inspired, supported, and empowered by these little bracelets! They LOVED them! That’s when we realized we were onto something more than just jewelry. We were creating emotional touchpoints that people could carry with them and refer to throughout the day.
